THREE FALL DATE LOOKS

In continuing on with the theme of my last post and dating fun, I’m sharing three super cute outfits to wear out on your next cozy fall date! I only used the word cozy because I feel like you can’t say fall with out throwing “cozy” in there somewhere. Plus, a date should have some sort of coziness to it otherwise you’re probably having a shitty date!

I know once it starts to get cooler out, we immediately keep hidden under knit sweaters, scarves and leggings. However I believe there are still ways to show a little bit of skin with the world even though it’s getting cooler out. My fave way to still show some skin in the fall months, is sheer materials. I’ve always had a love affair with sheer black pantyhose and wear them often with dresses or skirts in the milder periods of fall. As I’ve shared in other posts, I find a little bit of skin to be sexier than a whole lot of skin. I just love the way a black sheer top veils the skin, there’s something so elegant and kind of Hollywood about skin showing through black sheer material. I knew I wanted to include my fall colour, burgundy/plum, into my date looks and this zip up flair skirt paired perfectly with my sheer blouse and lace/nude bralette. The perfect shoe for this date night look is the “shootie”, a mix of the fall bootie and more formal high heal. I wear these babies to fall weddings, holiday parties, New Year’s Eve parties, actually this look would totally work for all your upcoming Christmas or New Year’s Eve parties!

Maybe your idea of sexy isn’t about showing skin, and there’s no reason you have too! You can still wear your fall sweater to date night, just pair it with faux leather pants or leggings! I always like to wear a bit of a heal for date night so I paired this look with healed fall tanned booties and gold jewels. Shoes and jewellery can be what makes your outfit stand out and go from casual to elegant. I prefer golds or brassy jewels in the fall and winter months and all the layered necklaces!

My last look is for the more casual date, maybe out for a nice fall brunch, catching a concert or strolling around downtown chatting. Fall weather is still mild enough, in most cases, so you can sport your ripped jeans without having your knee caps get frost bitten! We can also get away without having to be fully bundled up in winter jackets, so you can complete your casual date night look wearing your much cuter figure fitting leather jacket. I finished this look up with fall’s must have Chelsea boot, a cream coloured sweater top and a double choker.
